The Bocavaldivia app is a future app for a restaurant and resort in the coast of Ecuador. This app is a way for guests and permanent residents of the village to order prepared food, fresh produce and private chef experiences.
With no more than 200 users at any given time, the project still represents a challenge for ease of use. There are no competitor services in this remote beach community. The biggest feature of this service is that is fresh from the gardens and surroundings, harvested only hours before its delivered to the guest’s villa.
In addition to the brand system design, I got to work on the tone of voice and copywriting guidance as well as prototyping products, packaging and other concepts.
This project represented an opportunity to develop a full brand system, which includes the creation of visualizations of the territory and its complexity. This region is one of the 36 biodiversity hotspots of the world. It is most certainly threatened by climate change as well as aggressive local agriculture and development.
